For 30 years, Doug Allen has been a human resources leader in various industries in the tri-state region, working in virtually every aspect of the discipline. In the companies for which he’s served as an HR executive, Doug has been instrumental in transforming the role of HR to a partner and facilitating the achievement of the organization’s mission and goals.
Strategic, judicious, and thoughtful, Doug’s expertise and contributions span HR strategy, leadership development, workforce planning, labor negotiations, employee relations, executive and managerial coaching, organizational development, change management, culture transformations, and talent acquisition and management.
Doug has also helped to develop a cadre of highly qualified human resources professionals as adjunct faculty at Villanova University’s HRD Graduate program and Fox School of Business at Temple University. Doug also serves on the Human Resources Department advisory committee at the Fox School of Business, Temple University.
Doug received the Delaware Valley 2015 HR Person of the Year Award. In 2012, Doug received the Employee/Labor Relations Excellence Award from the Delaware Valley HR Department of the Year Awards Committee. Doug recently became a judge for this award.
Doug has an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Trenton State College and a B.S. in Education from Temple University. He holds certifications for the Center for Creative Leadership 360 Benchmarks Tools, ICF Certified Coach, Certified Facilitator for Crucial Conversations Program, Trained Facilitator in DiSC Assessment Tools, MBTI Certified Practitioner, Certified Workplace Mediation Trainer with the designation of subject matter expert.
