Ann O’Brien

After more than three decades in a variety of leadership and other roles in the nonprofit sector, Ann O’Brien is excited to bring her extensive experience and skillset to support the growth and development of individuals and organizations as an executive coach and consultant.

Ann is an entrepreneurial executive, coach, and consultant with a talent for proactively strengthening organizations and a consistent record of delivering quality results. She is an energetic and strategic leader with excellent change management, relationship building, team building, strategic planning, and collaboration skills. Ann is also a dynamic presenter with strong communication skills.

Early in her career, Ann spent 15 years with The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University, advising countless local nonprofits with a focus on strategic planning, team building, facilitation, and board governance. She has held senior executive roles with the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Wonderspring Early Learning Centers, and the Philadelphia Boys and Girls Choirs.

She completed her coach training with the Institute for Excellence in Professional Coaching (iPEC) and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (IFC). Ann has a special interest in working with high-potential emerging leaders as well as those in the C-Suite. In her coaching, her goal is to work with her clients so that they achieve constructive shifts in their individual perspectives, reactions, and behavior patterns to achieve lasting professional and personal growth and development.

Ann holds an MBA from La Salle University and an MSS/MLSP from the Bryn Mawr School of Social Work and Social Research.
