SITUATION:

A NYC foundation reached out to Exude Human Capital to help support them in their start-up phase. We have continued this successful relationship in each stage of their growth and business lifecycle since 2018.

SOLUTION:

To start, we helped them select a payroll vendor, implement an HR system, create onboarding materials, and build out process for their anticipated growth. They hired around 20 new employees. We then supported their ongoing hiring and developed a performance management process, while continuing to build out their HR infrastructure.

The client expanded their partnership with us to include executive coaching.  Exude provided coaching for their senior leadership team as well as adding in small group coaching for managing directors. This coaching has extended several times.

We also provided formal management training to develop general management skills and gain consistent management practices across the organization.

As they continue to grow, they requested we assist with expanding their evolving compensation structure and create job architecture to recognize equitable skills and contributions as well as provide a roadmap for career pathing.

RESULTS:

We helped this start-up foundation build an HR infrastructure and grow their team over the years. Now at 65 employees, there are overall higher levels of engagement among the leadership team due to our coaching and training partnership. Their team is better equipped for scaling, onboarding, and hiring as well as for promotions and development of staff.
