Philabundance – Client Spotlight
Philabundance is the area’s largest hunger-relief organization and a proud member of Feeding America on a mission to make nutritious food accessible to all. With the recent diagnosis of coronavirus (COVID-19) across the Delaware Valley, Philabundance has adapted their work to ensure individuals and families have access to the food they need while preventing the spread of the virus.
In addition to connecting families with social services, food pantries and other nutritional programs, they have also set up 84 temporary centers for children and youth, 23 for seniors and 4 outdoor food sites. Philabundance also opened a free, drive-thru emergency food distribution site in the parking lot of Citizens Bank Park, home of the Phillies.
